How We Began  

Hawaiian Island Wedding Planners  was started by Tori Rogers as a result of her passion for Hawaii and wedding planning. Her desire is to help couples experience their weddings and vow renewals in Hawaii’s romantic paradise.

Frequent vacations in Hawaii since 1978 assured Tori that Hawaii was the place for her wedding to Doug.  She never thought that just 20 years later she'd be planning her own Maui wedding! In 1998, Tori was encouraged by wedding and event professionals on the island of Maui to continue this as a business, as she offered a very fresh and unique approach to wedding planning in Hawaii.  

 

The encouragement and support from professionals on the islands, and her special talent to create and communicate, make it possible for and her and her staff to work with a variety of high quality wedding professionals across the islands and offer quality professional services to her clients.

*NO hourly fees to plan your wedding or additional percentages of your wedding’s total cost. Although there may be hourly on site fees to facilitate your wedding, the cost to plan your wedding is a flat fee to be determined when we discuss the details of your wedding.

*We guide you through your entire wedding planning process. We do not just hand you a list of vendors and see you on the day of your wedding.  

       *We customize your wedding so you only have the wedding services you desire.  By customizing your wedding we enable you to have your dream wedding YOUR WAY without paying for unneeded services.  This helps to keep your costs down. 

*Since the professionals and locations constantly change, we research everything for your wedding to make sure you have current information from which to select.  Our extensive files are constantly updated as the rules, regulations, and requirements on the islands change.  In addition, we call locations and vendors once we are hired in order to confirm costs and availability.  Rules change frequently at many locations, and vendors periodically change their prices. 

*We do not inflate any vendor or location prices.  

*We share all details with you so that you are well-informed to make the most appropriate selections and decisions.

We know that planning a wedding, especially a destination wedding in an unfamiliar place, is a time consuming and emotional experience. We enlist your trust while we assist you in the coordination of the entire event, and help make your wedding as pressure-free as possible.

Our goal at Hawaiian Island Wedding Planners is to help you plan your dream wedding in Hawaii, large or small, traditional or nontraditional, religious or nonreligious, casual to extravagant, with respect to your realistic budget, by providing you with the location and professionals that will best suit your wedding needs.

Once we discuss your visions of your wedding, we will make all of the  wedding arrangements.  That includes maintaining communication with you and the professionals involved throughout the planning period.

We offer suggestions and help you make informed decisions about various Hawaii wedding services and Hawaii accommodations.

 After listening to your visions and dreams of your wedding day, we research professionals and sites for you, provide you with suggestions of hawaii wedding professionals and sites that best fit your wedding needs, help you work within your realistic budget, offer suggestions, answer any related wedding etiquette questions, possibly assist with pre and post-wedding events (i.e. rehearsal dinner, brunch, beauticians, luaus, etc.), possibly assist with scheduling events, help you make decisions, and act as a liaison with your vendors.
